Our coating service now includes free consultation service by one of the most experienced coating engineers from Japan (Labo, Co., Ltd.). For nearly two decades, Takeshi Chakihara has offered his expertise to many universities in Japan, including Tokyo Institute of Technology. He was an active member in their fabrication of smart membrane for pharmaceutical applications. Takeshi also owns four patents in Japan.
Material Scientist, M.S. in Material Science and Engineering, Nagasaki University.
Takeshi has served as the R&D Coating Director at Labo Co., Ltd., one of Yasui Seiki’s R&D Centers in Japan, for many years. Labo is known for its state-of-the-art coating facility; it was one of the first of its kind to serve this industry more than 30 years ago. Labo specializes in contract R&D and market sample production for major corporations around the world. He oversaw many of the contracts as the lead material scientist and the coating engineer. He has extensive coating experience in next generation battery coating, Li-ion battery components, optical coatings (such as AR coating, hard coating, diffusion films), and printed electronics (such as MLCC, dry film, block copolymer templates). Takeshi has helped many companies solve their roll-to-roll coating problems, and has contributed to successful coating of applications that were considered impossible.
